SPECIAL AWARD EVENTS

In order to fulfil the expectations of professionals of the African advertising industry, the African Cristal Festival rewards 6 regions: North Africa – Western Africa & French-speaking Africa – Central Africa / East Africa & English-speaking Africa – Portuguese-speaking Africa – Southern Africa Egypt & Countries of the Indian Ocean.

The “Sphinx Awards” represent the opportunity to put forward Egyptian creativity and favor exchanges. It is the meeting place for advertisers, brands and leaders of the Egyptian communication industry.

For the African Cristal Festival’s third edition, a specific jury rewarded the best campaigns carried out in Egypt.

ELIGIBLE CATEGORIES

The chosen categories for this regional competition are the same as the ones presented during the African
Cristal Festival. (access to competitions)

The Egyptian agencies benefit from a double registration to the « Sphinx Awards » competition, with no
additional cost.

JURY & PRESIDENT

The Jury, partly constituted of leaders of Advertisement outside of Egypt, gathered in Marrakech on October 1st and 2nd, 2015 .


CONFERENCES & SPHINX AWARDS CEREMONY

November 25th was dedicated to advertising creation with the Cairo Cristal Academy :
agencies and brands gathered for joint presentations. Each talk was followed by a Q&A.

There was also a showcase of the best international campaigns presented during the various Cristal Festivals.

The Sphinx Awards evening was be held on November 25th in Cairo, winners were announced during
a gala dinner.

► 10:00 AM / 12:00 PM – Advertisers Grand Jury to select the Grand Cristal for the Egyptian campaigns
► 07:00 PM – Cocktails
► 08:30 PM – Gala Diner, Sphinx Awards Ceremony & Showcase of the international campaigns
