Farouk ZOUHIR / SOTUPA Group

Farouk Zouhir (Tunisia) is Deputy General Manager of SOTUPA Group, a group of companies operating in Africa and specialized in the production of cosmetic and hygienic products. One of the group’s company SANCELLA (JV to the Swedish group SCA) is a continent leader in baby diapers, feminine hygiene, tissue and incontinence products with brands such as Libero Peaudouce, Nana, Lotus and Tena. The group operates in more than 25 countries in Africa with a workforce of 1 200+ people.

Farouk graduated from HEC Lausanne with a bachelor in Management and Economics and from CASS Business School London with an MSc in Management. After a banking experience in London at BMCE and SMBC bank in the project finance team he joined SOTUPA Group in 2010 as a business development manager and was appointed deputy General Manager in 2013. He oversees the execution and development of the group’s industrial and marketing projects and seats in the board of directors. He is also a former member of the Tunisian Tennis national team.
